Welcome to Green Acres Stables.  We are a Livery Yard in The Lea, Nr Ross-On-Wye in south Herefordshire.

We are situated in Rock Lane just off the A40 from Ross-on-Wye to Gloucester making it extremely accessible Livery Yard for those who have to compute in  Gloucestershire or Herefordshire along the A40.

The Livery Yard is only 5-10 minutes drive from Longhope & Mitcheldean in Gloucestershire. Also only 15 minutes from Ross-On-Wye & Much Marcle in Herefordshire.

We have just opened at the beginning of December 2010 .

Local Shows:

We are also ideally placed right opposite the site for the Annual Lea Show.  The Lea show, which started as a village fete in 1944, is now in its 68th year in 2011.  This is usually held Bank holiday Monday in August.

We are also hacking distance for the site for the annual "Harewood End Horse Show & Hunter Trials" held in Mitcheldean, in the forest of dean, Gloucestershire.  As Probably one of Herefordshire Oldest Agricultural Show should now be celebrating its 121st Show.
